Take style and convenience, mix it up with warm African hospitality and you have a hotel that offers city lifestyle at its best. Whether it’s simply about socializing or mostly about business, Lamunu will ensure a good time is had by all.

Eat

Lamunu’s restaurant La Menu serves the freshest, most flavourful food this side of the Nelson Mandela Bridge.

Breakfast is cooked to order and includes a selection of continental and full English breakfast options. A light lunch is offered daily, which focuses on fresh and healthy salads and sandwiches.

La Menu has quickly become known for the best coffee in Braamfontein and is frequented by business people for quick meetings over coffee and cake.

Drink

In keeping with its playful attitude and stylish urban themes, Lamunu’s two bars offer contemporary décor yet with comfort in mind. Order timeless cocktails from the comprehensive drinks menu, in either The Grove Bar or The Lounge.

The simple yet chic ground floor bar, aptly named The Grove Bar, is located next to La Menu restaurant and overlooks the The Grove piazza, a social hive of activity. The sophisticated upstairs bar is called The Lounge, and provides stylishly plush lounge-style seating areas and is situated on the first floor in close proximity to the meeting rooms – many a successful business deal has been sealed over drinks.

The Lounge is also available for private use and exclusive events.

The Grove Bar offers sultry sounds and happy hours every Friday between 4pm – 6pm, where drinks are less 25%. It is the perfect stop on Saturdays before or after a visit to the Braamfontein Neighbourgoods Market. Please contact us regarding hosting your special event in our private lounge overlooking The Grove.
